Project Overview

Partnering with Volvo Cars USA and SCAD to research and develop concepts/stories using sensors and car intelligence to explore interesting ways to produce immersive and innovative in-cabin experiences.

My Contributions

Throughout this project, my role changed substantially as did many different members of our team. I started out in User research, conducting interviews and more. Then moved on to idea generation and development and graphic design. Towards the end of the project I worked almost entirely on our vision video final deliverable while assisting where I could elsewhere on the team!

Reflecting on the project

While working on this project, we learned the importance of being able to pivot from our original strategy toward one that aligns better with Volvo Cars. Without divulging too much information, our team completely reimagined our whole entire objective and deliverable after week 5, following feedback from our Volvo representative. We dove back into our research and affinitization to see where else we could innovate with this project.

I will always remember this project as a great example of rolling with the punches, not letting a large setback determine the fate of the whole project, and how being a flexible teammate can be invaluable towards a great project.
